As the prime contractor to build Canada’s Surface Combatants (CSC), Irving Shipbuilding supports today’s announcement that Canada will be moving forward with an existing warship design for CSC vessels. This refined strategy allows Canada to acquire the right ships for the right price, delivered in a timely manner. We will continue to work closely with the Government of Canada to ensure the right foundations for the CSC Program are in place, doing our part to strengthen capacity for our men and women in uniform.
