Members of Irving Shipbuilding’s Young Professionals Network recently participated in the Great Nova Scotia Pick-Me-Up, a program by Adopt-A-Highway. YPN members and company senior leaders volunteered on a Sunday afternoon to complete a garbage clean up on Barrington Street between the MacKay and Macdonald Bridges.

The Irving Shipbuilding Young Professionals Network (YPN) supports and engages young professionals under 30 as they begin their careers in shipbuilding. By supporting network building and ongoing learning, The YPN ensures employees have the professional development and opportunities they need to succeed.

The 25 participants enjoyed a beautiful day cleaning up the area, collecting a total of 20 bags of garbage!
